Throughout all the years I've known you
I've considered you my best friend.
You were the person in this world I could trust
And I knew you'd stick with me
Through thick and thin.
I'd go to you with troubles and hurts
And I'd leave feeling the pain had finally come to an end.
I guess love really is blind,
Since every time I came to you
A new scar was added upon me.
And I only just realized
That these cuts you gave
